I’m still blowdrying and straightening, can I have a curly cut?

The short answer, no. Generally speaking you should aim to have your hair cut in the style in which you wear is 75+% of the time. If you blow-dry occasionally, a curly cut will be beneficial, but if you can count on one hand how many times you’ve dried your curls naturally this year, then maybe you’re not quite ready for me just yet.

Won't it be uneven?

No! A curly cut cut takes into account the spring factor of each and every curl, although curls do vary day to day, the curls never fall far from the head, this means a dry curly cut will be more even when worn curly than a wet cut for curls, after all, we don't wear our hair wet, we wear it dry.

How often will I need to have my hair trimmed?

For a curly hair, it is recommended that you have your hair trimmed or shaped ever 4-9+ months dependant on length and style. Once I have seen your curls, we will come up with a customised action plan for you.

My hair isn’t curly enough/I think its too curly for a curly cut, it wont work on me, will it?

There is no such thing either way, my extensive training and experience has enabled me to cater to all curl kind! From the loosest tidal waves to the tightest fractal zigzags.

Do you do kids/men?

Of course. No one is ever discriminated against or treated differently. Every curly kid, curly girl, curly boy and curly non-binary is welcome! My prices are at a flat rate and I give everyone the time they need to be their best version. I do however ask you to use your own judgement as a parent/guardian for any child under the age of 5, as they may not be able to sit for the duration of the appointment and I will never force your child to do something which distresses them. This is meant to be a positive experience.

what products do you use?

Presently, I’m using a variety of products in varying quantities, from CurlyWorld, Trepadora, Innersense, Jessicurl, Origional Moxie, Curlésya (pronounced Curl-Eh-See-Yah) and LaBelleBoucle. I do not sell any products at the moment but all of them bar the final two are readily available online, the latter two are EU exclusives.
